Work Permits

There are a few options to enter Canada for work. You will need a valid job offer from a Canadian employer or meet specific conditions to apply for an open work permit. The most commonly known program is the Temporary Foreign Worker Program

The process begins here:

The Canadian employer must obtain a Labour Market Impact Assessment through the Foreign Worker Program before submitting the work permit application. The Canadian Government issues the Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA), which verifies a need for a foreign worker to fill the job position that no Canadians or permanent residents were available to do.

Once you find an employer with an LMIA or are willing to apply for an LMIA, we can then help you prepare and submit your work permit application. Choosing professional help can save you and your employer time and money. Immigration officers can refuse an application for various reasons. We will make sure to analyze your profile by checking all supporting documents required. Our professionals will carefully consider any risks or weaknesses your application may have so we can find the best solution for you. We ensure we submit a solid and complete application to achieve the best result when you hire our services

Benefits of entering Canada as a worker:

Most people leave their home countries searching for a better future, and a lot choose Canada as their country of destination. There are several ways to enter Canada as a foreign national, such as visitors, students, workers, or permanent residents. However, entering Canada as a worker is a better way to open up your opportunity to become a Permanent Resident. When you are a worker, you gain work experience, and if you do very well, your Canadian employer can promote you to a skilled job. Obtaining experience in a skilled job can make you eligible for different Permanent Resident programs. If you already have a job offer for a skilled position, then you only need to work for 12 months in addition to meeting other requirements to qualify for Permanent Residence.

As a worker, you are entitled to a fair wage, a safe workplace, break time and days off, and other benefits. However, if you enter as a visitor, you are not authorized to work, and you will need to demonstrate you are only entering temporarily. When you enter as a student, you are only allowed to work for a maximum of 20 hours per week. The work experience you acquire as a student will not count towards your eligibility for Permanent Residence.

Family applications

In certain occupations if you are married, in a common-law relationship, have children, you don’t have to leave them behind. When you obtain a skilled occupation such as cook, carpenter, mechanic, farm supervisor, you can also take your family to Canada. Your spouse or common-law partner can be eligible for a work permit and your children for study permits
